With strong defense by Alec Grande, Ethan Bean, Dylan Burpee and Brady Swanson, Lawrence was unable to move up field. Reading took over on their 20 yard line. Alex DiNapoli managed to drive the ball to the 40 yard line but with a fumble, Lawrence recovered the ball and broke away. Giacomo Iapicca made a running tackle preventing a Lawrence touchdown.

Reading took possession on the Lawrence 41 yard line. Ryan Strout and Alex DiNapoli with the support of the offense drove the ball downfield with a number of strong plays. Reading came out strong in the second half. Ryan Strout threw a long pass to Giacomo Iapicca who made it to the 5 yard line. Strout followed up by running the ball in for a touchdown, tying the game at 12.
