An excused absence is sickness, injury, and death in the family, religious commitment and homework.
Head Coaches must maintain accurate and contemporaneous records of attendance that must be turned in to Director of Cheering/Director of Football by 5pm on Saturday of each week.
There will be no penalty for one excused absence in a week. The player will be eligible for minimum plays or more depending upon his ability to contribute.
Two or more excused absences in a week, The Head coach, at his or her discretion, can have the player/cheerleader sit out for Saturday/Sunday’s game/competition (of the same week), unless the Football/Cheering Director approves an exception. After two or more missed practices, the player/cheerleader may not be prepared physically and/or mentally, to participate on Saturday/Sunday’s game/competition.
If one unexcused absence occurs, the player is subject to Minimum Plays only, upon the Coach’s discretion, unless the Football Director approves an exception.
If two or more unexcused absences occur, the player/cheerleader does not dress for Saturday/Sunday’s game/competition, unless the Football/Cheering Director approves an exception.
